Snooper BUS&COACH S5100 5-inch Navigation System

The Bus & Coach function creates a route based on your vehicle’s specifications. Simply enter these into the device to generate a safe, coach-friendly route. Routes are calculated using roads of appropriate width and height, avoiding low bridges, weight restrictions and many other hazards.

Other features include vehicle profiles, a route timer and a speed limit monitor.

We understand that it can be difficult to keep up with technological updates. That’s why the Snooper S5100 comes with free system software updates, so you can be sure you always have the latest software.

LCD screen

The S5100’s 5-inch touchscreen is the perfect size for providing drivers with clear instructions and routes. Large enough to be easily seen, yet small enough not to obstruct your view whilst driving.

Create customised routes

If you regularly travel to specific destinations, the S5100 allows you to save your own routes on the device. You can also search for points of interest along your custom route to save time looking around.

Car mode

We know you may not always be on the road with your BUS&COACH, so simply switch your S5100 to ‘Car mode’ to navigate roads suitable for cars.

Advanced road maps

Ventura uses high-quality digital maps from the market leader Here Global™. Routes can be calculated using postcodes, street names and ‘points of interest’, and even by simply entering a city, a town, GPS coordinates, a multi-stop route or a selected destination directly on the map.

Coach-specific speed camera locations

Unlike other navigation devices, our navigation systems show you speed limits that apply specifically to your vehicle size and class. Furthermore, with Bus&Coach, you can update the AURA™ speed camera database free of charge 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Whilst many conventional navigation systems with speed camera alerts only provide updates every 3 or 4 months, our dedicated speed camera data collection team updates the database daily, so you can download new data the moment a speed camera is added.

Day & Night mode

The screen brightness can be adjusted for Day & Night mode in the menu. Night mode dims the map view so you are not dazzled.

You can choose between 2D view, 3D view and north-up orientation for the map view.

Saving favourites

Personal destinations can be saved via the menu. These can be set as a destination if required. They also appear as an icon on the map view.

Tunnel route calculation

If GPS reception is disrupted in a tunnel, an accurate route simulation is performed.

An extensive list of hotels, restaurants, parking spaces, campsites, petrol stations, golf courses, cash machines, airports, train stations, shops and more. You can reach your desired destination at the touch of a button. Updates via free internet downloads (POI Updater).

Find POIs along the route

Select your ‘desired points of interest’ from our extensive list of POIs and have them displayed along your calculated route within a radius of approx. 2 km.

Multi-route calculation (multi-routing)

Snooper navigation devices have always boasted the most elegant design. But they don’t just look good; they also deliver the performance to match. Take, for example, our new and unique software for multi-route planning. Multi-routes allow you to calculate a single route with up to 16 different destinations simply by adding the addresses. You don’t need to stop and restart the device and laboriously search for each individual address. You can now easily calculate all your destinations for the day, change the order at any time, add new destinations or delete them. You can create up to eight itineraries with multiple destinations to be visited in succession.

If you wish, you can have the shortest route and the most sensible order of stages calculated automatically. For each individual stop, you have the option to select route options. At each stop, the map view displays the time and distance to the waypoint.

Intelligent route calculation

Route calculation takes into account the driving route (such as steep gradients), vehicle speed, vehicle dimensions, vehicle type, etc.

Navigate using OVI symbols or motorway exit numbers on the map

Use an OVI symbol or a motorway exit number to search for and find your destination in our ‘Search on Map’ function.

Legal speed warning

The permitted speed limit on almost all roads across Europe is displayed on your Bus&Coach at all times. The user can individually select the speed deviation threshold at which a warning should be triggered.

Useful settings

In the menu, you can select which key information is displayed on the sat-nav whilst driving. You can choose between speed, arrival time, remaining time, and automatic map zoom when changing direction. In the “GPS” menu, you can view the current GPS coordinates and altitude above sea level.

System and configuration security code

To protect your settings from unauthorised changes, you can lock the menu settings and the stored vehicle-specific data with a personal password for each.

Bluetooth® wireless technology

Stay on the safe side of the law. BUS&COACH is equipped with Bluetooth® so that you can safely answer a call whilst driving and keep both hands on the wheel. The Bus&Coach comes with an extension microphone, ideal for vehicles that generate a lot of background noise.

Your custom route

Calculate and save your desired custom route. Use the map search function to select one or more roads leading to your desired destinations. With “Your Route”, you can create your own tailor-made and customised routes! In particular, multiple destinations within a confined area (deliveries, parcel services) can be quickly selected directly on the map and combined into a route!
